Welcome to the Greater St. Louis Dental Society

Founded in 1856, the Greater St. Louis Dental Society (GSLDS) is one of the oldest dental organizations in the world, with more than 1,000 local member dentists. The Greater St. Louis Dental Society is the local component of the Missouri Dental Association and American Dental Association. Every day, the members of the GSLDS work to serve their community and promote better oral health for all. Learn more about membership with the GSLDS.

Corporate Transparency Act

Compliance deadline reinstated: File by January 13

On Monday, December 23, an appellate court reversed a nationwide injunction against the CTA, meaning small businesses would still have to comply with the law and file their reports. The new deadline is now January 13, 2025.

An ADA News story has been posted to inform dentists on the latest. Despite the new deadline, there are cases pending on the CTA. The plaintiffs in this most recent case immediately filed an emergency petition for a hearing by January 6, 2025. There are also cases in district courts in Alabama and Michigan. The ADA will continue to keep dentists informed as new developments occur, and the MDA will share out any news as well.
